FÊTE DE LA SANT JORDI
Go there and contact
A celebration of love and writing, on Sant Jordi, a Catalan holiday, it's a rose for the ladies, a book for the men.
The patron saint of Catalonia is celebrated both in Catalonia and in Andorra, the only country where Catalan is the official language. Traditionally, it is the festival of love and roses, as is Valentine's Day in other parts of the world. Sant Jordi also coincides with the death of two great writers: Cervantes and Shakespeare, which makes it a double celebration of lovers and books. In these honours, it is customary for a man to offer a rose to his beloved, while she reciprocates with a book.
