Fireworks, songs and dances, the enthronement of the king is celebrated with great pomp in the country. A civil holiday to live.
The Feast of the Throne celebrates the enthronement of King Mohamed VI and, before that, that of his ancestors. It is the most important civil festival with fireworks, songs and dances in all Morocco. Also, the king addresses a speech to the population, reminding them of the ties uniting him to his people. During this day, he will eventually pardon some of the condemned, receive the oaths of office from the newly graduated officers of the military academies and the congratulations of a number of kings or presidents of other nations
