FÊTE DU TRÔNE

More than a national holiday, this gathering of all the people reminds us of the preponderant place in the country of the royal family.
The Feast of the Throne in Morocco is neither more nor less than the most important day of the country's civil calendar, and as such, is obviously a public holiday. The date is not quite fixed, since it has changed many times depending on the kings and dynasties. Since the beginning of the reign of the current sovereign Mohammed VI (known as M6), it takes place in July. It is an opportunity to pay tribute to the Kingdom and the Moroccan monarchy through processions, throwing of flowers, and many other forms of celebrations.
