STAR IRELAND
In the southeast of Ireland, less than 100 km from Dublin, the agency offers pigeon hunts of nearly 32 000 hectares close to farms. In colza and other cultures, the pigeon (palombe) causes irreversible damage and attracts the anger of local farmers. So the possibilities are numerous and its usefulness is more than obvious. The best hunting period extends from mid-June to mid-August when temperatures mount and pigeons show the largest and most active. Followed by a French hunting guide, the hunter is posted in the fields under nets and equipped with callers. Carlow is housed in a full board in a beautiful 3-star establishment with swimming pool and fitness room. Possibility to organize mixed, bécassine or duck hunts.
