Every summer in July, the city hosts an international festival of dance, music and theatre with renowned artists.

The Larnaca Summer Festival is undoubtedly one of the most important and popular festivals on the island. Organised by the Municipality of Larnaka, it is a festival of music and performing arts. On the programme: music concerts, ballet and contemporary dance performances, plays, poetry readings and choirs of national and international artists. Situated in the courtyard of Larnaka's medieval fort and the municipal amphitheatre on starry summer nights, this festival has everything to please.
