Practical information : Going out The United States Of America
Timetable
In New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and of course Las Vegas, you can go out every night. No day off! The Promoters offer parties in clubs and rooftops, from Monday to Sunday. Girls (over 21 of course) do not pay the entrance fee. And for those who are allergic to clubs, there are hundreds of bars and restaurants in the most animated areas of the city. In summer, there are many free concerts. Young people often spend Sunday afternoons on the terrace before going to a dance bar.
Budget & Tips
Discounts are often given to students at venues and girls are often exempt from paying admission fees. You can pay for your tickets in advance on the Internet.
In New York City, for those who are broke and want to see The Lion King on Broadway, there are options. The first is to line up at one of the three TKTS kiosks (in Times Square, South Street Seaport and Lincoln Center) that offer discounts of 25% to 75% on all Broadway and off-Broadway shows, depending on availability. It's a known good deal, so plan to arrive before the kiosks open, and expect to wait in line for at least an hour!
Night transport
Urban subways, including New York's, often operate 24 hours a day. In San Francisco and its region, public transportation operates until midnight and from 4am on weekdays, from 6am on Saturdays and from 8am on Sundays.
Age restrictions
You will not be allowed to enter a nightclub, dance bar or other establishment where alcohol is served if you are not 21 years old. Do not try to cheat, you will be asked to show your ID.
What's very local
Entertainment in the USA is a serious business! We prepare for it, we work on it, we dare to wear unusual outfits, even costume parties, we stroll in the street without any complexes, we enjoy the lights of the city, a sunset on the sea... We know how to please ourselves!
Smokers
No smoking in public places in the evening, including places of dancing, games and other entertainment.
