Concerts, fireworks, parades... Every year, the country comes alive to celebrate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
While the Fourth of July has been a federal holiday since 1941, the first celebrations date back to the 18th century. They began after July 4, 1776, which marks the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of the United States from Great Britain, written by Thomas Jefferson. Concerts, fireworks, parades... Every year, the country comes alive. The demonstrations are impressive in the Los Angeles area, as in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Although the day has lost its political significance, it remains a symbol of patriotism.
