After spending some time in the house of Briars on his arrival in exile on the island, Napoleon lived until the end of his life in the house of Longwood between 1815 and 1821. The latter has two parts of the imperial apartments and the general wing is part of a French enclave. However, the state of this house is beginning to deteriorate. You will also see the house of Briars and you walk in the valley of the Tomb where was the first tomb of Napoleon.
