The Sugarcane Spirits Awards (a competition dedicated to sugar cane spirits) was held in a dematerialized version for the year 2020. The results were announced on February 3, 2021.
The new format of this competition is to be specified because the 40 judges, from 17 countries and 4 continents, had one month to test the 280 or so rums from 42 different countries and then give their verdict.
Rums from the Damoiseau (Le Moule - Grande Terre) and Longueteau (Capesterre-Belle-Eau - Basse Terre) distilleries distinguished themselves by being among the finalists in several categories
