Fundación Tierra Viva is a non-governmental organization based in Caracas, Venezuela. It was created in the 90s by the Living Earth Foundation, a British organization based in London. The foundation aims to promote environmental education and the conservation of natural resources. It has carried out several projects in the region, such as workshops in the Lake Valencia basin and Henri Pittier National Park. The foundation has also established partnerships with businesses, governments and communities to support its initiatives. It has received funding from various organizations, both national and international, such as the European Union, Chevron, Total Oil & Gas, Shell Venezuela, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources. The foundation also has an office in Tucupita, which serves as a documentation and reference center for students and teachers.
