Timetable

Nightlife is very active from Thursday to Sunday evenings. Opening days and times vary slightly from one establishment to another. Clubs and discos open from 10pm-11pm to 4am-6am.

In the Faroe Islands, some establishments don't accept anyone under 25!

In Denmark, you often have to be over 23 to enter these establishments.

Budget & Tips

Entrance fees vary from 30 to 80 DKK depending on the event. You will pay about the same for drinks. Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere.

Night transport

The Copenhagen metro is active 24 hours a day. Special train and bus services operate during the night. Buses on the night service are marked "N", between 1am and 5am. If in doubt, check the Journey Planner(https://www.rejseplanen.dk/).

While ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are not allowed in Denmark, reliable cab services are available in major cities.

Age restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to buy alcoholic beverages in bars and nightclubs. Some establishments, such as cocktail bars and nightclubs, do not allow minors to enter. Remember to bring your photo ID!

What's very local

Fredag's bar or Friday bar is very popular in Denmark, both in universities and in companies. It has become a must to be part of the group, so it has become a habit to meet in clubs and bars as well. In clubs and discos, it is fashionable to be well dressed. As you can see, Danes like to be stylish!

Some clubs have a mobile scrambler, so you can't use your phone to call or text!

Danes love jazz, concerts are frequent as well as jam sessions.

Smokers

The anti-smoking law is similar to France: no smoking in public places. That's why the terraces are so popular. In the clubs, you will have to go to the reserved areas.
