When to go Estonia ?

With a wealth of popular festivals, unusual events such as an Air Guitar festival, a festival dedicated to the White Lady, or traditional events such as the re-enactment of the Battle of Narva, concerts and other events that punctuate the Baltic year, the agenda is quickly packed. As for the seasons, winters can be harsh, especially inland, but walks on the frozen sea are well worth the detour! In summer, temperatures are mild and pleasant, with occasional heatwaves.

Despite the harsh winters (softened by the presence of the sea), the weather in Estonia is temperate but cold and humid. The further inland one goes, the more continental the climate becomes, with temperatures sometimes four degrees lower than those on the coast in the middle of winter and at least 2 degrees higher in summer. Due to its northern location, Estonia's temperature reaches -15°C in winter, and the summer days are particularly long.
