Mid-August and completely wrapped up. We are off the island of Skrova, one of the pretty jewels of the Lofoten Islands archipelago in Norway. We embark with Fred, creator of Wildseas. Former captain and fishing enthusiast, he has only one desire: to pass on his love for the region and throw it to us. At the end of the transparent fishing line, the lead lure sparkles in the sun. I throw myself, throw it overboard and unroll it counting the meters. We move slowly, the GPS indicates a school of fish just a little further away. It bites. I'm going up the wire. Quickly. Nice take! At the Skrova Restaurant, Tony is waiting for our return from fishing. Tonight, the Fish & Chips couldn't be fresher!
