MIDGARD VIKINGSENTER - MIDGARD VIKING CENTRE
The Midgard Viking Centre was inaugurated in 2000. It is located near the Borre burial mounds, which are one of Norway's most important cultural heritage sites. You will discover in particular the magnificent reconstruction of a Viking reception room (Guildehallen), with its woodcarvings and many objects. Characters in period clothing are there to brighten up the visit and answer your questions, in addition to the guided tours included in the admission fee. The centre also offers many activities (crafts, cooking, archery...) and has a café and a restaurant.
