Most museums are open from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10am and 5pm, with opening times varying according to the season, public holidays and school vacations.
Enjoying yourself Norway
Norwegian mealtimes differ from those in France. A good breakfast in the morning, lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., often a light meal. Dinner(middag) is served from 5pm. Most bars and restaurants are open every day and serve food outside these hours.
Take a break Norway
Most cafés open around 8am and close between 4pm and 6pm. Bars open from around noon until midnight or 1am.

Most stores are open from 10am to 5pm non-stop, Monday to Friday, and until 3pm on Saturdays. Many stores are also open on Sundays. Offices are closed on Saturdays and the eves of public holidays.
Get out Norway
If you like to go out and party, bars close relatively late, mostly between midnight and 1am, while discos close around 3am.
