Most stores are open from 9:30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and until 2 or 4 pm on Saturday. Many stores are also open on Sunday. In large cities, some department stores stay open until 8 or 10 pm and on Sundays. Large stores are open every day, often until 9 or 10 pm. In small towns, stores and gas stations close at 6pm. Offices are closed on Saturdays and on the eve of holidays.
Prices in Sweden are higher than in France, so be careful to manage your budget and don't be fooled by the difference in currency!
There are no official sales periods in Sweden, but usually the winter sales start directly after Christmas Day, and the summer sales start in early June.
