When to go Sweden ?
Visiting Sweden is a unique experience no matter what the season. In summer, you can enjoy long days of swimming, sunbathing and strolling through the archipelagos. In winter, the snow-covered country invites other experiences, such as cross-country skiing, watching the Northern Lights, ice skating, or simply admiring the enchanting scenery from the large windows of the country's cozy cafes and restaurants.
Thanks to the Gulf Stream, Sweden enjoys a temperate continental climate despite its latitude. The longest days are in June but July is the warmest month. Summer temperatures vary around 15°C. From mid-August onwards, there is usually an increase in rainfall. Winter in Sweden is marked by low temperatures, between 5 °C and -10 °C in the southern half, and between -10 °C and -30 °C in the northern half. A subarctic climate prevails above the Arctic Circle.
