From 5 to 11 September, the 13th film meetings were held in Béjaïa organized by the association Project'heurts and directed by Abdenour Hochiche. In addition to the screening of feature films, this festival presented, as part of the "Coté Courts" workshop dedicated to screenwriting, a series of 7 short films whose budding author-directors are Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian. The novelty this year was the 1st edition of "Béjaïa film laboratory", a reflection on the new challenges of the film industry in Algeria around workshops, master classes and conferences
