When to go Belize ?
The best time to visit Belize is probably during the dry season, which guarantees easy access to most of the country's sites. This runs from January to May. However, the Toledo district and the Placencia peninsula have a more tropical climate, so it can rain at any time of year, which is one of the charms of these verdant regions. The rainy season extends from June to December, but the climate remains pleasant until August.
Belize's weather is dependent on its subtropical climate, which is humid and hot. The humidity is felt more on the coasts, but the sea breeze comes regularly to mitigate its effect. The interior is known for its rather cool nights, even more so at higher altitudes. Throughout the year, temperatures in Belize can vary between 10 and 35°C depending on the districts and the seasons, which are two: the dry season, from December to May, and the wet season, from June to November.
