WAN SOU SHAN TEMPLE (MILLION YEAR OLD MOUNTAIN TEMPLE)
Built on the top of a small hill, this temple is located in a settlement area, which makes it lose a bit of its charm. His shui feng, on the other hand, is perfect because he turns his back on the mountain and faces the sea. Divided into two parts, the temple is dedicated to Kuan Yin, omnipresent in Singapore. The main grace that she gives to her fervent is longevity. The temple of the high, which is reached by a nice staircase, was recently renovated as well as the statues. There is a court and a little sanctuary with a statue of Buddha.
In the main sanctuary, Kuan Yin is found in a statue of the Monkey God with, on the one hand, the gods of war and the other, the goddess of Fertility and Birth. Basically, and facing Kuan Yin, we see Wei Tuo, who loved Kuan Yin but whose love was pushed back. He then became his friend and knight serving. Here you have to attend the festivities celebrating the four birthdays of Kuan Yin (they take place during the 2nd, 6 th, 9 th and 11 th lunar month).
