Time difference Bahamas
There is a 6 hour time difference between France and the Bahamas all year round. When it is noon in Paris, it is 6am in Nassau. Just note that the Bahamas change time 2 to 3 weeks before France: during this short period of time and at each changeover to daylight saving time, the time difference is -7h and -5h.
Opening hours Bahamas
To see / To do Bahamas
Museums are generally open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday or Saturday. In the Out Islands, the opening hours are often more restrictive, so you will have to ask for information on the spot.
Enjoying yourself Bahamas
Many restaurants, especially in the Out Islands, only prepare dinner to order. They are usually open for breakfast from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and then for lunch until 3 p.m.
Take a break Bahamas
Many bars in the archipelago offer a happy hour that often lasts from 5 to 8 pm. This is an opportunity to discover the wide range of rum-based preparations that Bahamians and visitors alike are so fond of. Mondays and Tuesdays are the least festive days in general, except in very high season like Christmas for example.
(To) please yourself Bahamas
Although most stores and markets announce an opening from 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, count on 10am to 5pm, especially in the markets. On Sundays, everything is closed.
Get out Bahamas
In Nassau or Freeport, you will find a good choice of places to go out for the evening, some even closing in the early morning. Paradise Island, the island of all excesses, of course offers various options for partying at any time of the day or night. In the Out Islands, it's different and apart from Harbour Island, which never stops, the evenings are more like cocooning or campfire on the beach. On Fridays and Saturdays, however, many small bars offer good live local bands.
