The week-long event features a wide range of nautical activities and exhibitions on the theme of the ocean.
Partly organized by the Office de tourisme de l'Ouest, the festival takes place in the beach region, usually at the beginning of June, around World Ocean Day, celebrated on June 8. To mark the occasion, special offers are made on all water sports activities on Réunion Island, as well as entertainment on the beaches. Several cultural venues offer photo and video projections of Réunion's underwater riches. Some images are selected for the world festival held every year in Antibes.
