This colourful Festival of Light, organised by the Tamils in St. Andrew's, is one of the most beautiful festivals on the island.

The Dipavali, a Tamil festival that cannot be ignored, is celebrated with great pomp and circumstance, especially in Saint-André, but also in other towns on the island. This week-long festival of Light is one of the most beautiful festivals on the island. On the programme are processions, Indian food stalls, concerts and above all the grand finale, which should not be missed: the town of Saint-André sets up a grandiose stage on which the island's associations and artists from India take turns offering exceptional dances. The whole thing is closed by a musical fireworks display.

In Saint-André Dipavali it is from November to November 15th, 2015 shows every night in the park of the colossus, the Indian cuisine in the restaurants in town, and do not miss the huge parade by foulque tanks on Saturday, November 14 to the city centre with 2000 " show gratuite".
