A lord all honour, Gouel year Erer Kozh, more known in the Hexagon and Europe under his French name of festival of Old Ploughs. Eighteen years of history, eighteen years of success, originally an idea of three friends. A joke almost, to freelance it in some way to the summer and coastal feasts that each year honour, who is singing sailors, who are old hulls, which are old rigging… hence its name'Old Ploughs '. Nonsense of students in a way and a common will of a small group of individuals to refuse the slow death that seemed to be attributed to Kreiz Breizh, this centre Brittany poor in a region that is vocation, post-natal, tourist and seaside. And now? It is 5 000 volunteers who invest every year in these three crazy days of the Poher, plus the evening of Thursday, who see the carhaisienne population of 8 000 souls welcome the time of the festival, basically the city of Brest, becoming the space of a weekend capital of the world rock fmusic! With an appointment not especially missed, for this 18 th edition Old Ploughs welcome "Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band", exceptional concert on Thursday July 16 th. Also the American pop-rock group "The Killers" as well as "Fiction Plan" and its leader who is no other than Sting's son, a high-flying programming. And now «Old Ploughs deliver sound» in March of each year, the time of a week-end, doing the beauty of young artists displaying eclectic programming.
