When to go South India ?
Southern India has a tropical climate; the region is not subject to major climatic variations. The south-west monsoon reaches Kerala in early June and, within a few days, spreads along the entire west coast. The second wave of rains hits Tamil Nadu in late November and early December. The best time to visit India is from October to March, and the best months to visit the south are from December to February.
South India has a tropical climate. From April to June, it is very hot and humid, and from June to September, it is the monsoon: these are the low tourist seasons in South India. From September to November, the weather is pleasant with temperatures around 25°C in South India. From November to February, the weather is even more pleasant, dry and sunny, it is the high tourist season in South India with a peak in December.
