You can easily travel by train from north to south and from west to east throughout Alsace using the regional train network (TER). Rail services are supplemented by road services by coach, usually following the route of old railway lines that have been neutralised or decommissioned. Some trains accept bicycles. If you do not travel with your own bicycle, bicycles can be rented at stations in Strasbourg, Colmar and Mulhouse. There is a cross-border service between Strasbourg, Kehl and Offenburg for those wishing to travel to Germany.
