Since the end of August, the Right Bank of the Rhone line between Pont-Saint-Esprit has been reopened, with 5 daily return trips, including one extended to the center of Nîmes. This is good news for the inhabitants of the area, but also for tourists who like to travel by train and for the environment! It takes 30 minutes to get to Avignon from Pont-Saint-Esprit, and another 40 minutes to get to Nîmes. The complete reopening of the line, scheduled for 2026, will increase the number of round trips per day to 8 and will include service to 10 points of interest between Pont-Saint-Esprit and the Gard prefecture.
