SYHA HOSTELLING SCOTLAND
SYHA, Scottish Youth Hostels Association, is a national association that manages and maintains many youth hostels throughout Scotland. In the city as in the most remote corners, it is a cheap offer, an unbeatable value for money. There is a wide selection of dormitories and private rooms (with or without bathroom), while enjoying the very practical common spaces: shared kitchen, living room, dining room, reading room etc. Most are also equipped to serve food and alcohol, and offer Wi-Fi connection. In large cities, it is a calmer, family and much more comfortable option than traditional, sometimes little-maintained and party-oriented hostels. In the countryside and in the middle of nature, it is often the only choice at a small price outside campsites, and there are often dream sites and sometimes beautiful historic buildings. You do not need to be a member to book, but membership offers £ 3 per night and will soon be amortized if you count on several addresses.
