LA VILLA

It is to a Corsican family, the Berfili, that we have to take this (very) taste of good taste, open since November 2003. The kitchen is characterized by the small, typical Corsican touches which come with traditional dishes. Thus muscat, wines, figs or honey, all coming from the island of Beauty, do they contribute to, for example, the civet of wild boar, wolves roasted with chestnuts or duck magret. Among the specialities, you have to note the roasted lamb's mouse mouse, the chicken chicken roasted with candied lemon and its puree (the great success of the house, a safe value!). You will also appreciate: the boiled egg in the fatty liver, the pan-fried fatty liver, the Corsican plate or the Nice base, the fisherman's pot, the gambas eruptions in the Muscat of Cape Corsica, the mille of socca and burbot in eggplant caviar, not forgetting the pistou pasta! On the cellar side, Corsican wine is of course to honour (it comes from Patrimonio, for connoisseurs), with some wines from the world and the inevitable Provençal wines. The decoration is very beautiful, with antique inspiration (with columns, arcades and statuettes); The beautiful, massive bar overlooking a marble plate adds to the elegance of the places. As rare as it is, a pleasant small living room is suitable for you to enjoy your digestive experience - especially as here the house's digestive digestifs are worth a visit (Corsican brandy, chestnut, myrtle and clementine liqueurs). Last but not least, a covered patio can be used to host group evenings, birthdays or other. the menu, in this case, may be composed on request. The booking recommended, at least on Saturdays. The small one: to the rigour, the desserts may seem relatively undesirable. The little plus: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
