HERMIT CAVE
This cave in the rock Saint-Michel overlooks the calanque of Callelongue and the Goudes. It is impressive by its rocky arch. The panorama from the cave is sensational. A hermitage and chapel chapel were installed in the xivth century. We can still see some ruins. It was the brother Ermite François, from Naples, who founded this place of retirement and also appointed the rock, because Saint Michel was often chosen in the Middle Ages to protect religious sites in height. It is close to the cave Saint-Michel where a source of fresh water was found. A pendulum jump is organized from the cave for thrills.
