This is a much awaited party for all the locals and visitors, organised as part of the famous celebrations of San Félix de Candas. From 5 p.m. onwards, in the San Antonio square, the sardines are prepared and grilled live by the restaurants participating in the operation. The visitors, for their part, enjoy this tasty tasting, accompanied by a good glass of cider. At the end of the day, the restaurant that has cooked the fish best wins the "Golden Sardine" prize and the festivities continue until the early hours of the morning.
