Timetable

Whilst supermarkets and international brand stores remain open without interruption from 9am to 8pm, small shops take a break from 12.30pm to 1pm to 3.30pm to 4pm. They are generally open from Monday to Saturday, but some stores in the big cities are also open on Sundays, even if this day is generally a day off.

Budget & Tips

We can only recommend that you stock up on good gourmet products: delicatessen, parmesan, balsamic vinegar, wine... Shopping at the source, i.e. directly from the producer, allows you to have more advantageous prices than if you go to a shop or shop online since you avoid the middlemen. In addition, you will have the opportunity to taste the products you buy. Of course, the problem will be to find the necessary space in your luggage if you are not by car. Sales

Tourist traps

The destination being less touristy than Venice or Florence, souvenir shops are not legion.
