One of the most important film festivals in Europe after Cannes, Venice and Berlin, with the Golden Leopard as its prize. Since 1946, it has honoured auteur cinema. It has recognized the talent of directors such as Claude Chabrol, Claire Denis, Stanley Kubrick and many others... The plus: the large square which can accommodate up to 8,000 people for an open-air cinema session, particularly pleasant on hot August nights.
