Near the Walser village of Niel, famous for its ancient wooden houses and fountain, La Gruba is a restaurant and B&B. Dishes are based on local traditions, such as focaccine (oven-baked flatbreads) with cured ham from Les Bosses, homemade pasta with game sauce, crusted pork tenderloin, zucchini pancakes and goat's cheese. The structure has two dining rooms, one of which opens onto a covered terrace, and an accommodation section with pretty wooden rooms suitable for tourists and hikers.
