La Crotta di Vegneron, or "the winemaker's cellar" in French, is one of the most important wineries in central Aosta Valley. Today, it is a cooperative with over fifty associates. Its products are made from native grape varieties (petit rouge, cornalin, vien de Nus) as well as some "foreign" to the valley, such as Müller-Thurgau, pinot noir and gamay. The winery is best known for its Muscat de Chambave, Chambave rouge, Malvoisie de Nus (pinot gris) and an over-ripe Muscat.
