CATTEDRAL

Built in an urban ensemble of medieval times (1330 th century), the cathedral was rebuilt in by the order of Robert d'Anjou. The interior, in Baroque style, deserves a visit for the many quality works it houses. Among these, the "Chiropita", moving Byzantine image, presumed dating back to the th century, a Madone "acheiropoïète", that is, not painted by a human hand and thus miraculous. Other beautiful curiosities: th century mosaics, the organ of the th century, and the Baroque Neapolitan and Spanish stucco stucco (th century); among the frescoes, we will remember those of Luca Giordano.
