PARCO NAZIONALE DELL'ASPROMONTE
Born in 1994, Aspromonte National Park (76,000 ha) is among the youngest national parks in Europe. Little known to tourists, it enjoys an authentic and mysterious atmosphere and is an ideal setting for hikers and winter sports enthusiasts. Its varied panoramas will also delight travelers looking for remote and wild surroundings.
The park has many watercourses, with magnificent waterfalls such as Marmarico, in the municipality of Bivongi (with its 114 meters, it is the highest waterfall in Calabria), or Mundu e Galasia, immersed in lush vegetation, in the municipality of Molochio.
