Several towns celebrate Saint Anthony's Day around a large bonfire, with traditional music, parades and gastronomic stands.

On January 17th, Saint Anthony is celebrated in several municipalities of Campania. Popular music, processions and gastronomic stands accompany the festivities that culminate in a great bonfire, symbol of purification and regeneration after the long winter nights. In Cicciano (Naples) and Nusco (Avellino), St. Anthony's Day gathers many participants. In Macerata Campania (Caserta), musical floats are paraded, followed by a fireworks show.
