The festival of the black truffle and the products of the Valnerina is held on the last weekend of February. The famous black truffle(Tuber Melanosporum Vittadini) is harvested in winter, while another, less famous variety appears in summer(Scorzone). Since the 1950s, this gastronomic exhibition has been promoting the typical products of the region, the wine and the artisan traditions. You can taste the wonderful truffle as well as learn about its production.
