Described as a hidden gem in the western part of the state, the Gaines County Golf Course was first established as a 9-hole course in 1958. Then in 1991, due to growing demand, a "Back 9" was created. In the end, this 18-hole course, the brainchild of two great designers (Warren Cantrell and Jim Terry), offers a certain complexity for all visiting players. Numerous trees, fast greens and a good elevation bring a certain playfulness to the overall layout.
