OREGON NATIONAL HISTORIC TRAIL
The Oregon National Historic Trail is an urban site located in several U.S. states, including Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. This historic trail is a reminder of the sacrifices, struggles and triumphs of the first American settlers, who traveled over 3200 kilometers to reach Oregon. More than 2,000 miles of wagon tracks and furrows can still be seen along the trail. For those wishing to visit the trail, interactive maps can be consulted to plan your itinerary and discover the historic sites. The National Park Service's official website also offers a mobile app to make visiting the trail easier.
