The Rouge Park Golf Course opened in 1923 when the park system was launched in Detroit. This Par 72 course covers 6,325 yards of mostly rolling terrain. Known for its wide fairways, it is also famous for the river that crosses it on several occasions, 9 times to be exact, which is the number of holes where you will have to play skillfully to avoid falling in the water. The 2nd hole in particular is the most difficult hole in Detroit and is often cited as the most difficult.
