Designed in 1962 by the famous designer, George Cobb, Oak Island Golf Club is first and foremost a place to enjoy the environment, both fauna and flora: birds, alligators and all sorts of plants and maritime trees. On the course, the wind will be your most formidable enemy... Almost always present, proof of this is the trees lying down all along the course, you will have to know how to tame the wind to make the best cards. Add to that the 37 bunkers on the course and you'll understand that the place has everything to make you doubt!
