The Pioneers golf course is one of the four 18-hole courses offered by the city of Lincoln and is undoubtedly the oldest. It was built in April 1930. Originally, 27 holes were built for the sum of 1 500 US$. The course stretches over a hill where the magnificent clubhouse sits proudly at the top. Since then, it has become an 18-hole course (only), but it has become the most popular. Its layout is unique and has remained true to its original desires, as no bunkers were built here.
