Concerts and shows are held at the same times as in France. Clubs also close in the early hours, especially those located on beach lidos.

To be booked
The Taormina Arte festival, held in the city's ancient theater, is a much sought-after event, and should be booked in advance to be sure of a place.
Night transport
Cabs are recommended at night, as are VTCs, to get around large cities where certain neighborhoods are less frequented and where it's better not to venture.
Age restrictions
You have to be 18 to go to a club or disco in Italy. Shows are planned for all ages.
What's very local
The Sicilian puppet shows ( pupi) will delight children even if they do not understand Italian. This Sicilian tradition, which began in the 1700s, has been listed as an intangible heritage of humanity since 2008.
