Time difference Sicily

No time difference with France, just a different notion of time!

Opening hours Sicily

To see / To do Sicily

The opening hours of museums and tourist offices are similar to those in France. The same goes for churches and cathedrals. Many cultural institutions are closed on Mondays.

Enjoying yourself Sicily

Sicily being a very touristic country, the traditional trattorias are usually open every day for lunch and dinner in the middle and high season. In winter, the opening hours change and some places close.

Take a break Sicily

Cafés are generally open very early, with early-morning workers lounging at the zinc to gulp down a ristretto before heading out. Bars close at the same times as in France, but bar-clubs much later.

(To) please yourself Sicily

The opening hours of the major ready-to-wear stores are the same as in France's big cities. Small stores, on the other hand, always follow the siesta schedule. They close around 1pm and don't reopen until around 4pm.

Get out Sicily

Concerts and shows are held at the same times as in France. Clubs also close in the early hours, especially those located on beach lidos.
