Budget & Tips
Unfortunately, no cultural pass exists, either for the Balearic Islands as a whole or for each individual island. Generally speaking, institutes, cultural centers and museums are inexpensive (under €10).
Main events
In the Balearic Islands, everything is an excuse for a fiesta. The Spaniards have it in their blood, so their festive calendar is packed! In addition to countless patron saint festivals, the year is punctuated by numerous sporting, gastronomic and cultural events. Take a look at our calendar. Note that each city on each island has its own busy schedule. Find out more locally when you arrive.
Guided tours
In the Balearic Islands, while there are a few guided tours of museums and cultural centers, the vast majority are devoted to discovering the islands' towns and villages, as well as their natural treasures (salt marshes, caves, protected parks, coastlines, etc.)
Smokers
Smoking is prohibited in museums. In open-air and natural areas, smokers are responsible for not disturbing non-smokers and for keeping the area clean.
