L'ILE DE YOGA

L'Île de Yoga is an association based in Lille that offers Hatha Yoga classes based on the Iyengar method. The teaching of yoga according to B.K.S. Iyengar is based on the in-depth practice of yoga postures and yogic breathing. Iyengar yoga is taught all over the world and can be practised at any age, while respecting the physical limitations of each individual. Classes are led by teacher Guylaine Huet, who offers three levels according to students' level of practice. To register for classes, please contact us in advance. L'Île de Yoga also provides supports such as straps, bricks, blankets, chairs and ropes to help students better learn the postures. Regular practice of Iyengar yoga helps to strengthen the body, relieve muscular disorders, relax and enhance concentration.
