Le Barbue d'Anvers is an estaminet located a stone's throw from the Grand'Place, with a pretty cobbled courtyard. The decor is a success, with a clever mix of large wooden tables and 18th-century-style tables on the first floor. On the wall shelves are numerous bottles of beer, a tribute to the traditional hoppy beverage. Here you can dine on one of the city's best carbonades flamandes, as well as a top of beef palette with maroilles. For dessert, opt for a typical Northern delicacy: beer crème brûlée.

C'est dans une ambiance chaleureuse que nous avons délicieusement mangé avec des amies. Un magnifique restaurant atypique du vieux Lille avec un accueil plus qu'au rdv et une cuisine bien gourmande. Nous reviendrons et recommandons cette adresse sans hésiter. Ne pas oublier de réserver pour ne pas passer à côté de cette occasion lors d'une visite à Lille.
