Restaurant in Lille to enjoy the gastronomy of the North at a good value for money.
Le Bistrot Lillois is undoubtedly a fine example of a Northern estaminet. The menu, designed by Pierre Dewailly, sets the tone with its chapter headings written in local dialect! On the menu, dishes that pay homage to the region: shrimp croquettes, French toast with brown sugar, Flemish carbonnade...served with a smile from the owners. The decor is just as relaxed, with old-fashioned family furniture and dried hops hanging from the ceiling mingling with tiled walls, testimony to the restaurant's past as a butcher's shop. A very good address at a reasonable price.

Le restaurant propose toutes les spécialités lilloises auxquelles on peut s'attendre. Cependant, nous avons été déçu de la qualité et la quantité dans les assiettes (nous n'avons pas été rassasié par un welsh). Les frites ne donnaient pas l'impression d'avoir été faites maison.
